This website has been put together by Uilleann Piper Kathleen Dugan Cavanagh of Orlando, Florida. Kathleen performs throughout Central Florida and is available for instruction in person or virtually on the uilleann pipes and tin whistle. She helps organize and has been an instructor at the South East Tionól which is an annual uilleann piping/fiddle workshop held in Orlando. Additionally, she was a teacher and performer at the 2025 Northeast Tionól in East Durham, New York and has played for the Willie Clancy Summer School Wednesday evening Piper’s Recital in Milltown Malbay, Ireland.
Kathleen will be one of the featured instructors at the April 2026 BRIMS Tionól in Charlottesville, Virginia, and one of the teachers at The August 2026 Piper’s Gathering in Litchfield, CT.

John Maze, Gainesville, Florida is one of the orginal SE Tionól organizers. He is available to play for events and is an amazing instructor. He is also an accomplished highland piper and plays with the group An Truir. Contact him at maze@ufl.edu.
Stacia Lewis, Orlando, Florida. She is a long time piper and reedmaker/pipes fixer who is essential to the Florida Community. She frequently hosts reed/pipes maintenance classes at the South East Tionól.
